Residents and visitors of Anchorage take pleasure in the high levels of passenger air service in Anchorage. Anchorage averages over one hundred and sixty domestic passenger flights a day. Most Alaskans get to fly more often than the national flying people because lots of communities have inadequate road connecting Anchorage. Like for example, some local residents work on the northern part of Alaska and therefore they have to fly every other week from their jobs to their homes.
Most of the destinations that are served during the summer time are closed during the winter in Anchorage.
