My boyfriend and I are going on our first cruise together and I'am really nervious. Neither one of us has been on a Cruise?I just had a couple of questions about where we were going?

Has anyone been on a Cruise to Baja Mexico? I was just curious how safe it is to go there and what things to expect.

Hola! I have heard nothing but really great things from people who have taken the Baja cruise. I am in Cabo and I meet lots of people who come in on the ships and all of them rave about the food, the views, the entertainment, even there rooms. It is really a great way to travel if you want everything looked after and are nervous about coming to another country for the first time.

Cabo is very safe, even after what you hear on the news of late. Yes, Mexico does have its problems with corruption and mafia/drug lords. It is typical in a 3rd world country that is trying to become progressive. There is always going to be someone trying to take advantage of the money flowing in here from tourism.

Enjoy your cruise and don't worry about your day trips into town. You will have a great time if you exercise caution and don't get yourself into any iffy situations by being stumbling drunk or picking fights with locals!
