it might run from $40-$100. It all depends on the condition of traffic and the route taken. try shuttle or limo services as well they might be cheaper because they charg flat rates. get rates for aiport shuttle's at http://www.LouMarTravel.com click on the Cars icon and look to the middle right side on the page for Airport Shuttle

Why would you go to the Miami port when there's a port in Ft Lauderdale?
I sailed out of Ft. Lauderdale two years ago and the cab ride to the port from the airport was eight bucks w/tip. It's not very far. |

Depends on the size and where you buy the taxi. Some of them cost up to $30,000.
Call several taxi companies and limo services to get a quote. There may even be an airport shuttle. Call the airport about a shuttle and they can give you an estimate on the taxi fare. The distance is about 15 miles as the taxi drives. |

So you found out the savings from flying into FLL get used up getting to & from Port of Miami!
1. Call your cruise line. They may have their own or a contract with a limo or shuttle bus line. 2. There are a number of bus & limo lines that pick up at FLL. Do a Yahoo Search for "FLL Shuttle to Port of Miami," for a listing. One that will pick up without reservation runs $30.00 a person. Others will give group quotes for 4 or more and others special round-trip deals. 3. Taxi will will run $60+ + tip. For 3 or 4 together that may be the best deal. 4. The CHEAPEST is the Tri-Rail to metro-rail combination; a complicated 2+ hour odyssey involving bus to train to train to cab transfers carrying your own baggage. That will be less than $5.00 a person plus splitting the cab a very short distance from downtown to the port. |
