I live in Maryland so all my life we have been going to ocean city every summer. But its getting old and doesnt even feel like a vacation since its so crowded and it seems we've done everything there. Went on a cruise to the caribbean in Jan and loved it. But now I am looking for something different and affordable for just a 3 night vacay. Any ideas???

Cape Henlopen State Park, in Southern Delaware, contains 3,000 beautiful acres. There are lots of trails for biking and walking including a 3 mile paved trail that loops around the park. There is an observation tower that provides a great 360 degree view. There are tennis courts, a nature center, two beaches for swimming and surf fishing and it is the home of the "Great Walking Dune".

My wife and I were in the same rut for the first five years of our marriage in the late 80s and early 90s. Then we got the idea of heading 40 minutes south to Chincoteague one year and have been going back very since. Beautiful, and SO much less noisy and crowded.......

We would never consider going to OC during the season now because of the ridiculous crowding-- not to mention I hate the heat.

How about a vacation in Yosemite or Lake Tahoe? I think that will be a different experience for you. Check this links I found for you: www.mapjack.com/Yosemite www.mapjack.com/LakeTahoe

Tell me what you think of these spots?
