Economy Trinidad and Tobago has obtained a fine reputation as an ideal investment ground for global commerce. Seventh- day Adventists are also around with four percent while the rest are either Methodists or Presbyterians. The country also has African syncretic creed cluster namely Spiritual Baptists or Shouter and Complimentary Shangos or Orisha. Culture The pre- Lenten Carnival is one of the well- celebrated events in Trinidad and Tobago. Aside from which, it is also the cradle of steel pan and calypso harmony where both have been invented around the twentieth century. This archipelagic state has varied customs remembered all throughout the year. Other sights include the indigenous forms of art that comprise of Soca, Parang, Chutney, Limbo and Pichakaree. All of which has a lot to do with the rhythm which is why the country is also known for its huge contribution in the musical scene. As a matter of fact, two natives have been awarded with the Nobel Prize, Naipaul and Walcott. All of these you will get to recognize more once you set foot in Trinidad and Tobago. |
