It's one undeniable fact. Trinidad and Tobago has it all. When you think this richest country in the Caribbean has the vastest culture and ecological unit, still think further than that. This republic is climbing the peak for its diverse industry wealth.

Trinidad and Tobago held an industrialized base that became consummate in the islands of the Caribbean. As the heavy and new industries arrived on-stream in the early part of the 80's, Trinidad, with its sister isle, Tobago was a top producer of steel, iron, methanol, urea fertilizers, ammonia, natural gas, asphalt and most especially, oil. The petrochemical became the core of Trinidad industry strategy envisioned. The country also held a huge construction sector that covered most of the large Trinidad industry projects, asphalt roads as well as the administration housing projects. Trinidad and Tobago basically became responsible for the prominence of this sector for decades.

Asphalt and petroleum was the chief sector of Trinidad industry economy since the Second World War, obtaining its highest significance in the year 1970's. The oil output of the country peaked in the late 70's, producing around 84 million oil barrels. The earliest exploratory wells were first drilled in the country Trinidad during 1850's to 1860's, dubbing them as one of the earliest wells drilled. Huge companies like British, Shell, Amoco, Texaco and Petroleum traditionally controlled the oil production.

In the year 1980's, the Trinidad industry proved its large natural gas reserve that totaled to approximately 481 billion cubic meters, not counting the other 566 billion cubic meters that expected to be recuperated.

Late period of 1980, Trinidad industry boomed as their fertilizer export paved them to become the world's next leading exporter of the petrochemicals. Three industries of fertilizers were constructed and the production nearly tripled after only five years. The plants Trinidad Nitrogen Company and Fertilizers of Trinidad and Tobago generated liquefied ammonia, while the third manufacturer developed granular urea. The production of fertilizer reached up to 1.6 million tons.

Steel and iron production also became one of the legends of the Trinidad industry. This production became the core trade in the latest industry method of the year 70's and 80's. The manufacturing sector of Trinidad and Tobago industry stayed comparatively small in the year 1980's. This sector was historically insignificant, being dwarfed by the oil and agricultural trade. Yet the importance of its structure was seen a significant contribution to the whole Trinidad industry system apparently.

Trinidad and Tobago is not only prosperous, culturally and environmentally speaking. They can also line up with the industry affluent countries worldwide because of its booming industry trade.
